Production Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform visual/mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies and assemblies (in-process, final and shipping), as specified by Inspection Instructions and/or Engineering Documentation
• Perform, witness and/or audit testing (in-process and final) of components, cables, electronic subassemblies and assemblies, as specified by Engineering Documentation
• Review/audit test data results against Test Procedure, Engineering Documentation and/or Customer requirements and assure compliance
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation (records) for reporting acceptance/rejection of items inspected and/or tested
• Prepare reports documenting results of special inspections, tests and problems; documenting trends on performance (visual, mechanical and functional)

Requirements

• Three or more years related experience required
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
• Able to use and read micrometers, calipers, electronic test and other measuring equipment
• Able to read mechanical, electronic drawings and blueprints
• Detail oriented to keep accurate records and files
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
