Production Inspection Tech Rotating Days
for headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content.
We need to parse the posting.
Content:
- Work Schedule: Rotational days/weekends. Also later: "12 hour rotating schedule including every other weekend."
- Environmental Conditions: Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials : Zeta Plus Processor Zeta Plus Manufacturing | Stafford Springs, CT Document Control Department Job Level Job Band Effective Date Zeta Plus Manufacturing Production 2 TBD Reviewed By: Approved By: Document Owner: Revision: 1.0
- Then mission statement: As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team... etc.
- "Discover Impactful Work At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be instrumental in upholding quality and production standards, ensuring our products reach the highest levels of excellence. Join our outstanding team in Stafford Springs, CT - Filtration Solutions Division (FSD) and contribute to top-tier manufacturing in an encouraging atmosphere."
- "A Day in the Life" bullet list: Supports Line Operator ... etc.
- Basic Qualifications: list.
- Physical Requirements / Work Environment: description.
- Compensation And Benefits: hourly pay range $17.71–$26.56, variable annual bonus, comprehensive Total Rewards package list.
We need to produce sections: About the role (maybe mission statement and overview), Responsibilities (A Day in the Life), Requirements (Basic Qualifications?), Qualifications (maybe same?), Skills (maybe basic math etc), Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO etc. Already removed.
We must not create sections with placeholder content.
We need to preserve all substantive info.
Let's decide sections:
- About the role: could include mission statement and overview: "As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team..." and "Discover Impactful Work..." maybe combine.
- Responsibilities: the "A Day in the Life" paragraph (list of duties). Could be turned into - items.
- Requirements: maybe "Basic Qualifications" list.
- Qualifications: maybe "Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred." etc. But we might combine with Requirements? The instruction says prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we could have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (including basic qualifications and preferred), Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
But we also have Physical Requirements / Work Environment (lifting, standing, PPE, etc.) Could be part of Requirements or a separate section like "Working Conditions". However we don't have a heading for that in allowed list; allowed headings are About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We could put physical requirements under Requirements or Skills? Probably Requirements.
Skills: maybe basic math skills, ability to wear respirator, etc. Could be separate.
But we need to avoid thin sections. Let's think: we have substantive content for:
- About the role (mission, impact, location)
- Responsibilities (duties)
- Requirements (basic qualifications: math, measuring devices, stand 12hr, lift 50lbs, wear respirator, HS grad, 1+ yr experience, basic machinery knowledge, cGMP experience preferred)
- Skills (maybe basic math, ability to use measuring devices, ability to stand, lift, wear respirator, etc.) Might overlap.
- Benefits (comprehensive Total Rewards list)
- Pay (hourly range, variable bonus)
- Schedule (12 hour rotating schedule including every other weekend)
We also have environmental conditions (cleanroom, PPE, lifting 40 lbs, fluctuating temps, loud noises, no contacts, hazardous materials). Could be part of Requirements or a separate "Working Conditions" but not allowed. Could fold into Requirements or Skills.
We need to preserve all substantive info. So we must include those details somewhere.
Let's create sections:

- Supports Line Operator in operating production equipment as outlined in work instructions using judgment to correct problems, with authority to stop production when equipment, safety or product quality is in jeopardy.

Requirements
- Basic math skills including the use of formulas, decimals, and fractions required.
- Knowledge of simple measuring devices.
- Ability to stand for a 12‑hour period.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to wear a respirator.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- 1+ years of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of machinery is preferred.
- Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred.
- Able to lift 40 lbs without assistance.
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards.
- Cleanroom restrictions: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.
- Fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold).
- Loud noises from equipment/machinery.
- No contact lenses allowed; prescription glasses will be provided.
- Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.).
- Standing for full shift.
- Will work with hazardous/toxic materials (e.g., Zeta Plus Processor).
We could also include Skills section but maybe not needed; we could incorporate skills into Requirements. However we have separate Skills heading allowed; we could create Skills for things like "ability to use simple measuring devices", "basic math", "ability to stand", etc. But that duplicates.
Better to have Skills separate: maybe list "basic math skills", "ability to use simple measuring devices", "ability to stand for 12‑hour period", "ability to lift 50 lbs", "ability to wear a respirator". But we already have those in Requirements. To avoid duplication, we could move some to Skills and keep Requirements for experience/education. Let's think: The posting has "Basic Qualifications:" list (math, measuring devices, stand 12hr, lift 50lbs, wear respirator, HS grad, 1+ yr experience, basic machinery knowledge, cGMP experience preferred). Then later "Physical Requirements / Work Environment" includes lifting 40lbs, GMP, cleanroom, temps, noise, no contacts, PPE, standing, hazardous materials.
Thus we can separate:
- Requirements: Basic Qualifications (education/experience)
- Skills: maybe the physical/technical abilities (math, measuring devices, stand, lift, wear respirator, etc.)
- Benefits: as given
- Pay: hourly range and bonus
- Schedule: 12 hour rotating schedule including every other weekend
- About the role: mission etc.
We must not create thin sections; each should have substantive content.
Let's craft:
