Production Iceguards

Responsibilities

• Repetitively produce quality products in an efficient manner.
• Maintain a high regard for one’s own safety and health as well as that of co-workers.
• Construct, prepare for cure, and finalize preparation of composite and Iceguard parts and other products as required.
• Manufacture parts using processes such as hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, and prepreg lay-up.
• Prepare molds, tools, and materials, including cutting fabrics, mixing resins, and applying release agents.
• Trim, sand, drill, and finish composite components to required tolerances.
• Lay up composite materials and perform other tasks to work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Build, breakout, clean, jig and pack products.
• Interpret drawings, pictorial representations, written work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify product quality and identify defects.
• Maintain a safe and effective work area/environment and use appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.
• Complete proper documentation.
• Follow written and oral instructions with little supervision.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to interpret drawings, pictorial representations, written work instructions, and engineering drawings.
• Must be able to perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify product quality and identify defects.
• Must maintain a safe and effective work area/environment and use appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.
• Must complete proper documentation.
• Must follow written and oral instructions with little supervision.
