Production General Laborers
Position Summary
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the General Laborer will work in a fast-paced production environment. Must be able to work in a variety of areas and departments as needed.
Position Responsibilities
- Ability to learn how to operate equipment such as map sealer, moisture, equipment, etc.
- Able to follow directions and perform other tasks as requested
- Function in a constantly changing environment with a variety of tasks
- Routinely lifting and stacking 55+/- pound bags and boxes
- Standing and working for long periods of time
- Able to work outdoors/indoors, in hot/cold, noisy, and dusty environments
- Ensure Food Safety, Legality and Quality of all products
Position Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends and 12-hour shifts
- Read and complete all paperwork associated with the hiring process, safety procedures and job duties
- Attention to detail and instruction provided on the job
- Work in a team setting and coordinate with team members daily
- Will be required to demonstrate good verbal communication with supervisors
