Production Floor Supervisor

SRC is a contractor for the U.S. Government. This position will require U.S. citizenship as well as a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level.

About the Role

Supervising production floor workers and fabricators. Filling this position is contingent upon funding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and three years of experience; OR an Associates degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline and seven years of relevant experience; OR a High School diploma / General Education Development (GED) diploma and nine years of relevant experience
• Of the minimum years of experience required, at least two of those years must be in production facility management
• Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating incoming work schedules and resources for successful completion
• Demonstrated experience in planning, preparing, issuing, and controlling production schedules to include controlling the flow of materials times to meet production requirements
• Demonstrated experience coordinating the schedule of equipment and personnel with the receipt of material procurements, identifying material shortages and assessing the impact on schedule
• Demonstrated experience providing upper-level management with the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level

Desired Skills

• Previous experience as a production supervisor at Government production / fabrication facilities at NAVAIR, Patuxent River, MD or NAWCAD WOLF, St. Inigoes, MD

Responsibilities

• Supervise production floor workers and fabricators
• Manage and coordinate incoming work schedules and resources
• Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules
• Coordinate equipment and personnel schedules with material procurements
• Identify material shortages and assess impact on schedule
• Provide upper-level management with status updates on work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems

Pay

Estimated starting salary range: USD $63,150.00/Yr. – USD $105,200.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Schedule

Travel requirements: no more than 10 business days per calendar year.
