Production Finishing Specialist - Part Time

About the role

AlphaGraphics of Round Rock is seeking a Production Finishing Specialist to join our tight-knit team. The Production Finishing Specialist is responsible for the finishing and completion of projects in the center, including staging and preparation of completed jobs for delivery or shipping to the client’s final destination. We are looking for highly-collaborative and dependable teammates driven by the opportunity to contribute to the success of a local business.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for finishing of projects.
• Work under pressure and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Operate finishing machines such as cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other production finishing equipment to facilitate final assembly of finished products.
• Maintain records, including daily production records, using specified forms.
• Follow all quality control procedures as instructed by the owner or manager of the center.
• Perform any other essential functions or duties needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating finishing equipment in the print, signage, or associated industries.
• Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Problem-solving skills and cooperative interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multitasking.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a computer.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work over a waist-high table.
• Strong multitasking ability and effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload.

Pay

$12.00 – $15.50 per hour
