Production Finishing Specialist - Part Time

About the role

As an established leader in the Printing, Marketing, and Design industry, AlphaGraphics of Round Rock is actively seeking a Production Finishing Specialist to join our tight-knit team full-time. Our Production Finishing Specialist is primarily responsible for operating various machines and equipment to finish products that have been printed so they can be delivered.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for finishing of projects.
• Work under pressure and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Operate finishing machine devices, such as cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other production finishing machines as available in the center to facilitate the final assembly of finished products.
• Maintain records, such as daily production records, using specified forms.
• Follow all quality control procedures as instructed by the owner or manager of the center.
• Perform staging/preparation of completed jobs to be delivered or shipped to our client’s final destination.
• Any other essential functions/duties that are needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in operating finishing equipment associated with the print, signage or associated industries.
• Positive, professional attitude.

• Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multi-tasking.
• Basic math skills and ability to use a computer.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work over a waist-high table.

• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload.

Pay

$12.00 – $15.50 per hour.
