Come grow with us by joining our team as a critical member responsible for conducting QC inspections on select completed vehicles at the Goshen, IN Forest River Bus location and all completed units at Abroc Specialty Vehicles. You will confirm quality expectations set by Model 1, ensuring every vehicle meets approved build sheet standards. This role involves close collaboration with Forest River and Arboc QC Teams to report and address any changes, faults, concerns, or alterations. You will also check units into the Model 1 computer system.

Responsibilities

  • Review factory build sheets to perform quality inspections on all buses produced by Forest River and Arboc for Model 1.
  • Provide a list of discrepancies and concerns to the Forest River and Arboc teams for correction following inspections.
  • Complete quality control forms and ensure all corrections meet Model 1 quality standards.
  • Document all inspection findings into the Model 1 software system.
  • Check units into the Model 1 computer system.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Technical knowledge of transit and mechanical equipment characteristics and maintenance needs
  • Knowledge of shop operation hazards and safety precautions
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong initiative and organizational skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Capable of time management

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform tasks
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs

Pay

$20-$26 per hour
