Production Executive

About the role

The purpose of this position is to ensure smooth and efficient production operations by monitoring the shop floor, maintaining accurate SAP transactions, maximizing machine utilization, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.

This role is part of the Production department and reports to the Deputy Manager / Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily shop floor activities to ensure production targets, quality, and efficiency are achieved.
• Execute and maintain accurate production transactions and reports in SAP.
• Optimize machine utilization by minimizing downtime and ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Monitor production performance and take corrective actions to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health and environmental (SHE) requirements and promote a safe working culture.
• Verify proper use of PPE and ensure adherence to safety procedures on the shop floor.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Prepare and submit daily production and performance reports to Production Manager.
• Assist in manpower planning and ensure discipline and housekeeping standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years.
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
