Production Engineer (Cell)

Responsibilities

• Improve production efficiency of the process, especially for bottleneck process.
• Manage raw materials such as wafers, paste, and screens to improve the production cost of solar cell processes.
• Implement an intelligent production system to increase labor efficiency and improve quality management.
• Optimize process automation and logistics sequence of production input from bare wafer to final cell output.

Procedure Management

• Document standard operating procedure of production operation.
• Ensure standard procedures are followed on-site for production safety and quality purposes.
• Reform and revise OCAP (Out-of-Control Action Plan) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) as necessary.

Production Management

• Establish a production management system from environmental and quality perspectives.
• Optimize production conditions in terms of manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Confirm data accuracy of production yield, output, quality, and raw materials in stock.
• Conduct a control action plan for production quality.

Production Planning

• Establish a production plan based on past performance.
• Manage production and material data on MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
• Confirm data accuracy of production order and production quantity.
• Align schedules of preventive maintenance and production testing according to production line status.

Production Improvement

• Investigate and improve issues related to production process, quality, and costs.
• Regulate the operators' standard training and operations and apply on-site suggestions.
• Analyze production costs and labor expenses to increase manpower and resource efficiency.

Qualifications

• Educational & Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field, Minimum 3 years of experience in production management.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of production planning and control, Experience in semiconductor, display manufacturing, or related industry, Strong understanding of the front-end process of semiconductor fabrication, Analysis skills of SQL or MS Office to interpret data and derive conclusions.
• Preferred Requirements: Basic understanding of solar cell production.
