Production Employee - MetalTech

About the Role

As a MetalTech production employee, you are a key position in our metal working operation. From start to finish, you are responsible for processing raw materials and performing various tasks to support the manufacturing of our finished products. You will work in a busy manufacturing shop, staying active throughout the day to help meet customer needs. Reporting to the production supervisor, you’ll collaborate with a close-knit team, making effective communication and teamwork essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Organize cut metal parts by sorting and stacking.
• Operate machines and equipment or use hand tools to cut, shape, splice, and fit materials.
• Perform cleanup tasks such as restacking, scrap hauling, and delivering products for packing and shipping.
• Read and interpret production drawings.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortable with hands-on work.
• Ability to read production drawings and use simple measuring tools.
• Safety-conscious for yourself and your team, with no shortcuts taken.
• Metal fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
