Position Summary
The Operational Efficiency Specialist plays a vital role in improving productivity, performance, and process consistency across Factory6’s production and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with the Production Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate operations and meet targets for safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
- Support and coach shift supervisors to enhance performance, communication, and efficiency.
- Analyze production and warehouse data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Adjust production plans, material flow, and staffing allocations as needed to optimize output.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and internal quality standards across all activities.
- Work cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
- Lead or assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
- Drive cost-control, waste-reduction, and process-improvement projects.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of best practices and SOPs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Food Science, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in production supervision, process improvement, or operations support within nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Proven success in improving production efficiency, implementing lean principles, or optimizing workflows.
- Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, HACCP, and manufacturing safety standards. Experience with production planning, scheduling, and ERP/MRP systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. An analytical mindset with the ability to use metrics and data for decision-making. Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management tools.
- Preferred: Experience in encapsulation, blending, or packaging operations. Familiarity with production-tracking systems (e.g, Monday.com, Data Ninja).

- Starting Hourly Rate: $29.00 (can be adjusted DOE)
