Production Designer

Responsibilities

• Interpret design intent packages and execute working drawings for quoting, production, and fabrication.
• Prepare design intent (Design-Build) and working drawings for client approval.
• Prepare artwork and digital files for production.
• Calculate takeoffs and prepare bills of materials.
• Execute quality reviews in various stages of our workflow.
• Perform other tasks in the Design and Engineering Department as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with CorelDraw.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite as well as standard Office software.
• Knowledge of technical drawing conventions and symbols.
• Knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Knowledge of materials including acrylic and aluminum.
• Understanding of fabrication methods and processes.
• Ability to read architectural plans and construction documentation.
• 4 years of experience working in the signage and graphics or custom fabrication field(s).
• A 2-Year college degree or equivalent certification.

Qualifications And Experience

• Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks, SketchUp.
• CNC Routing and toolpath strategy.
• Large Format Printing and Prepress/Preflight Processes.
• Screen printing & color matching.
