About the role
Sunbelt Supply is a global provider of flow control solutions, maintaining one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories, and specialty PFF in North America. We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design, machining, fabrication, assembly, and automation repair work. This role provides high-level administrative and technical support, coordinating automation orders through production while collaborating with multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Process new and revised orders
- Review customer purchase orders and compare to sales order files
- Collect pick tickets and allocate products to orders
- Arrange shipments to external vendors
- Create spreadsheets for production planning
- Fulfill special customer requirements
- Review data packages and release for assembly
- Work with assembly technicians as needed
- Schedule and assist inspections
- Close out orders and provide pallet count when required
- Perform general clerical duties, customer follow-up, prepare reports, compile statistics, and handle invoices using spreadsheets
- May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of experience in area of responsibility
- High level of competency in administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in computers and software, particularly MS Office tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines
- Problem-solving skills
- Light to medium lifting (up to 25 pounds)
- Overtime may be required occasionally
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to stand and walk
- Continually required to sit and utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
- Continually required to talk or hear
- Continually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard
- Occasionally required to lift, push, or carry items up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to loud noise (e.g., shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment)
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office and warehouse environment. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
