Production Control Specialist - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities
- Process multiple material-related transactions in the company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to release, issue, transfer, receive, etc. hardware within the manufacturing facilities.
- Perform production control work as directed by Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader.
- Review MRP release requirements, i.e., Planned Shop Requisitions.
- Review material availability for Shop Requisitions to be released.
- Create, release, reserve, issue and receive Shop Orders (Manufacturing and Repair).
- Create, release, reserve, pick, deliver and receive Material Transfer Requisitions.
- Process miscellaneous material transactions including scrap, cycle counts, adjustments, etc.
- Physically manage all material movement and disposition related to cell activity.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 6 months experience in scheduling, computer skills, hardware management, etc.
- Effective interaction with team members, customers and all levels of management.
- Reads, understands and correctly interprets basic blueprint drawings.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist.
- Capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
- Has grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required.
