Production Control Manufacturing Planner Sr

About the role

The Production Control Planner oversees and manages the manufacturing build process for various components, ensuring that customer requirements are met within schedule. Key responsibilities include providing real-time status updates, coordinating with multiple departments, and driving parts to completion through effective planning and material flow management.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Make, Buy and / or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions.
• Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions.
• Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost.
• Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
• Captures and maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.

Requirements

• Experience with inventory control and material handling knowledge.
• Knowledge of SAP & SFM.
• Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance per business requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Experience with inventory control and material handling knowledge. Knowledge of SAP & SFM. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel.
• Desired Skills: Microsoft Office experience, Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, Power Pivot), Ability or experience creating dashboards, and/or charts, to communicate part status, bottlenecks, and forecast accuracy.

Skills

• Past experience with Production Control and/or Make and Buy Planning, manufacturing and and/or Make Planning experience.
• Schedule management experience to track adherence (planned vs. actual) across multiple lines.
• Use critical path analysis and deviation root cause tracking to drive on time delivery.
• Familiarity with database queries (SQL) is a plus for extracting SAP/SFM data.
• Experience with SAP & SFM Manufacturing Experience Planning or MRP experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00
