Production Control Coordinator

About the role

The Production Control Coordinator manages manufacturing operations to meet and exceed customer expectations, overseeing departments such as Saw, Small Parts, Fabrication, Welding, Paint, Assembly, Shipping, and Scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise production processes
• Ensure safety protocols and maintain plant safety standards
• Develop performance metrics and drive continuous improvement activities
• Analyze work procedures and address process inefficiencies to improve quality, cost, and delivery
• Process work orders via MRP systems and monitor operational efficiency
• Manage personnel hiring, counseling, and safety compliance
• Prevent hazards and ensure proper use of safety equipment
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years in manufacturing, process flow, scheduling, and people management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MRP/ERP systems, and lean manufacturing principles
• Demonstrated decisive leadership, teamwork, and safety compliance

Physical and other requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work standing on hard surfaces
• Ability to interpret blueprints and perform basic math
• Ability to work independently
• Good visual acuity and communication skills
