Production Control Coordinator
In this role
- Review customer requirements
- Develop daily/weekly/monthly production schedule by model
- Publish FCSD service requirements and schedule accordingly
- Set up engine shipments to customers
- Distribute necessary production, inventory, and shipment status reports daily
- Daily review and update of DPR (Daily Production Reporting) system
- Comply with ASCENT system requirements
- Review supplier part inventories for critical parts (Parts Follow-Up)
- Perform minimum/maximum market area audits
- Set up critical supplier conference calls as needed
Secondary Duties
- Maintain and monitor premium freight moves
- Support inventory control initiatives, meeting all MCRP guidelines
- Support Dearborn Engine team production control team objectives
- Assist in backing up MP&L salaried personnel as required
- Support SAP/EWM inventory scanning processes
- Support new model launch activities
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Material Planning and Logistics, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or Packaging (preferred)
- Proven track record of successfully interacting with plant hourly and salaried personnel, logistic carriers, and production suppliers
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- One or more years’ experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience utilizing ERP systems
- Prior experience with data analytics tools preferred
- Strong analytical skills and quick decision-making capability
- Validated ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Experience in Material Planning and Logistics experience desired
- Self-starter, with a history of working under tight deadlines

This position is a salary grade 6-7 - from $72,480 -$141,360
