Essential Functions

  • Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and communicate potential schedule changes as needed to accommodate production delays, disruptions, expedites, material shortages, customer cancellations, or recovery plans.
  • Track and report production status as needed.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks and help to implement solutions to meet delivery deadlines when needed.
  • Provide support to the Production Planners and schedulers.
  • Orchestrate communication with engineering, procurement, quality, maintenance and any other department needs that will hinder production.
  • Generate and maintain weekly production reports if required by the Manufacturing Supervisor or Planning Manager.
  • Document history as needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Education and Experience

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • One year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Teams and Outlook is required.
  • An understanding of how an ERP System flows is preferred.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Organizational skills, including coordinating tasks, schedules, and resources to keep everything running smoothly, are required.
  • Interpersonal skills such as building rapport with team members, stakeholders, and other departments are required.
  • Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility is preferred.

Pay

Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
