Position Summary: This role is a key position within our manufacturing plants and supports our production team leads as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production. This position is responsible for maintaining production packaging material inventory. What you will Do: Follows GMP/PPE, Safety guidelinesFollow & maintain HACCP & Sanitation guidelines & processesUtilize DSI Scanner Functions to allocate inventory to various production work order, film, boxes, traysMaintain accurate inventory of film, boxes & traysUnderstands yield standardsWorks safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environmentPerform proper scanning of line downtime and scan proper parts/SKUs.Keeps track of identification tags by running reports from ERP & RPDMS systemMaintain Production efficiency (80% +)Run inventory reports to ensure all materials have been entered correctly into JDESupports production as necessaryRecord inventory on the usage sheetAbility to be crossed trained & multitask in multiple positionsMaintain safe work environmentWork in a fast paced environmentComply with SQF Regulatory ProgramsMaintains a clean work area at all timesFollow and enforce the 5S Methodology including maintaining tools and equipment as defined by the 5S marking.Validates physical inventory quantities by location & matches against consumptionsEnsures compliance for product specificationsConduct AM activities for which responsiblePerform other duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to read, write and speak English preferredWillingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.Comprehension of basic mathAbility to work independently and in a team environment.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, JDE/DSI/RPDMS)SKI CK3 ScannerAbility to multitaskAbility to understand plant KPI’s (production, quality & safety)GED/High School Diploma.
