About the role

The cook supports the kitchen by preparing items featured in our deli case, grab'n'go wall, and self-serve counters. They work at a fast pace to assist with preparing entrees, salads, side dishes, and soups, ensuring fresh, abundant, and high-quality products are ready for guests while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment. They also provide world-class service to guests as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ready-to-eat foods
• Package and label all produced goods
• Receive and break down loads
• Rotate product
• Work at a fast pace while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment
• Shifts between 4am–10pm daily; open availability is required

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to work well independently or on a team
• Background working in a high-volume kitchen setting with knowledge and use of commercial kitchen equipment
• Basic computer skills
• A sense of urgency while paying attention to details
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• A positive attitude is essential
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
