About the role

You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain equipment to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.
  • Execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed.
  • Understand losses in your area and equipment and report them.

Requirements

  • Experience in a high-speed industrial/manufacturing environment is required.
  • Must be able to work any shift, and work daily & weekend overtime, if necessary.
  • Must be able to bend, carry, reach, climb, twist, and lift up to 50-pounds.
  • Must be able to operate different types of manufacturing equipment (i.e., transports, forklifts, etc.).
  • Must be able to perform visual inspection and measuring techniques.
  • Must be able to complete quality and production required paperwork legibly, accurately, and timely.
  • Able to perform various duties as necessary, often changing from one task to another in different environments.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills

  • Operating machines with coaching.
  • Safety and quality standards for operating machines.
  • Reading and writing, fluent in the language of communication as appropriate to the site.
  • Collaborating well in a diverse work environment.

Pay

$23.10 per hour

Schedule

  • Weekday + Weekend shifts available with some required overtime (weekday and/or weekend).
