Production Associate - Shipping
Position Summary
We're looking for a Shipping Associate to join our Benton Harbor team. In this role, you'll perform a variety of duties related to our daily shipping operations while supporting a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Inspects the labeling and quality of the product prior to being packaged
- Ensures labeling on product boxes is correct
- Packages products according to company standards to ensure products arrive to our customers without defect or damage
- Refers to the shipping schedule to ensure products are organized by job number per customer specifications

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
- Intermediate mechanical comprehension and abilities
- Skill to measure and perform mathematical computations, including fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions
- Lift 70lbs with assistance
- Complete all work within our safety guidelines
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read a tape measure down to a 1/32"
- Work and train in other departments as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate office equipment, and reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to talk and hear
- Required to stand and walk
- Required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 70-pounds with assistance
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
