About the role
We are looking for a talented Production Associate – Level II – 1st Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Ladson, SC.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you’ll help maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Skills
- Lifting, rotating 90 degrees, and carrying metal turbo cores weighing up to 34 lbs. up to 4 feet, 40 times/hour.
- Grasping and operating two hoist handles at 78-80 inches from the ground to load turbochargers into containers.
- Lifting and carrying up to 6 parts weighing up to 42 lbs.
- Pressing together a two-handed retaining ring tool, 40 times/hour.
- Inserting retaining rings using one-handed retaining ring pliers, 40 times/hour.
- Standing/walking for 8-12 hours/shift up to 2 hours consecutively.
- Pushing/pulling wheeled carts requiring up to 85 lbs. force up to 30 feet.
