About the Role

The Production Associate position is responsible for ensuring products are assembled and/or packed in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient and high-quality manufacturing that meets customer and regulatory requirements and supports overall operations. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for the final inspection and packaging of medical devices, helping ensure each product is ready for customer use.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and document results to maintain product integrity.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Manipulate small parts and operate controls with precision; manual dexterity is essential for handling tools, adjusting machine settings, and placing and removing workpieces.
  • Assemble products or components manually or with automated equipment, in accordance with technical specifications and work instructions.
  • Ensure all assembly tasks are completed accurately and meet production timelines.
  • Work efficiently to meet or exceed production targets and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Follow established manufacturing processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize waste or errors.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Precise control over the movement of tools and workpieces.
  • Good hand-eye coordination for manipulating controls, adjusting settings, and achieving accurate results.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes.
  • Certification in operating specific machinery or equipment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions.

Skills

  • Attention to detail is crucial for conducting quality checks and ensuring that products meet specifications.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read, understand, and follow written work instructions, procedures, and production-related documentation.
  • Teamwork skills for collaborating with colleagues to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Schedule

  • 1st shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:00 pm.
  • 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:00 am.

Shift eligible for a 7% shift differential.
