Production Associate I (SCP) Second shift

Job Summary

This position involves manufacturing of medical components in a clean room environment under general supervision. Key responsibilities include machine operation, manual production using hand tools, visual inspection, physical measurements, and packaging of finished products. This role requires precision and attention to detail, especially when handling small and delicate components.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision and follow written procedures after training.
• Operate basic machines such as balloon machines, cutters, scissors, air tools, and measurement tools.
• Enter data from manufacturing processes into computer software.
• Understand and adhere to Cleanroom Environment requirements, Good Documentation Practices, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Education and Experience Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent experience.
• No prior experience required.

Skills and Abilities

• Dexterity and attention to detail.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to read and understand written specifications and procedures.
• Working experience in a FDA or ISO regulated environment is a plus.
• Able to sit frequently, stand, walk, and bend.
• Able to lift items up to 35-50lbs as applicable.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, maintain detail, and comply with Nordson’s Safety Policy.
