About the Role
As a Production Associate – Filler, you will be part of a team that manufactures and packages quality paints, stains, and other materials in our production plants using automated filling equipment. Responsibilities
- Work in a PSM (Process Safety Management) building that includes solvents and solvent-borne materials.
- Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices.
- Set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and interact with filling equipment as required.
- Perform quality inspections and checks (e.g., verify fill volumes, labeling, coding checks).
- Communicate issues in the department or with equipment to management or maintenance personnel.
- Lift cases or pails of product onto filling line conveyors.
- Drive powered industrial truck (PIT) to supply or remove materials or finished products.
- Keep work areas clean and maintain expected housekeeping standards.
- Maintain and/or assist with production line efficiency improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Able to read, understand, and follow instructions and operating procedures in English.
- Able to wear all required PPE, including hard hat, FR uniform, steel/composite-toe safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
- Comfortable working in environments with temperature variations.
- Able to stand for long periods and climb stairs.
- Able to bend, reach, and lift during tasks involving transfer hoses, drums, or similar materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT).
- Basic computer skills (e.g., SAP, Vorne, or similar systems).
- Ability to complete and demonstrate understanding of required safety training.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
