Production Associate
Description
Smurfit Westrock is seeking Production Associates at its Low Moor facility. This entry-level operations position involves manual labor activities such as bending, lifting, walking, and maintaining good housekeeping. Key responsibilities include operating industrial trucks for roll handling and raw materials, using manufacturing systems, adhering to safety and quality standards, and operating various types of converting and packaging machinery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts on a DuPont schedule
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Solid employment history
- Two years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Physical requirements: frequent bending, lifting up to 45-50 lbs, standing for 12+ hours per day
