Production Associate (Cylinder Maintenance)
About the role
The Production Associate (Cylinder Maintenance) will take care of loading and unloading high-pressure and liquid cylinders while collaborating with the Maintenance Team by visually inspecting and performing general maintenance on cylinder inventory.
Thoroughly reviews and inspects cylinders before filling, following standard procedures required by the government, Airgas, and distributor standards. Understands the hazards of various gasses, sizes, and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks.
Safely operates a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse/material-handling equipment. Examines returned cylinders for surface defects, dents, cracks, burns and performs minor maintenance of equipment and inspection of cylinders before filling. Identifies and separates test cylinders and any defective cylinders. Removes old labels, cleans cylinders.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform heavy work – routinely lifts 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lifts 76 to greater than 100 lbs.
- Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
- Have good mechanical skills
- Able to read and comprehend all written and computer generated documents
- Must be able to drive a forklift and become certified

Commensurate with experience.
