About the role

The Production & Maintenance Associate Electrician position at Corning is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems within the facility. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment
  • Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring and components
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Electrical Journeyman status or equivalent, or at least 4 years of applicable experience or military equivalent
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds on a regular basis
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong work ethic and interpersonal/team participation skills
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Basic demonstration of skills required

Pay

$34.58 hourly rate

Schedule

Varies by plant; probably will be rotating shifts on a weekly basis. Working holidays and weekends are a must.
