About the role
The Production & Maintenance Associate Electrician position at Corning is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems within the facility. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment
- Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring and components
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Electrical Journeyman status or equivalent, or at least 4 years of applicable experience or military equivalent
- Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds on a regular basis
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal/team participation skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Pay
$34.58 hourly rate
Schedule
Varies by plant; probably will be rotating shifts on a weekly basis. Working holidays and weekends are a must.
