Production Associate (Cylinder Loader)
About the role
We are hiring a Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) in Cherry Hill, NJ. Shift Time: 2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm), Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of high-pressure and liquid cylinders on/off trucks in compliance with federal, state, local regulations.
- Maintaining safety standards in the loading and unloading of cylinder gases per Airgas procedures.
- Inspecting cylinders prior to filling, following established guidelines to ensure safety as requested by government, Airgas, and distributor standards.
- Identifying the size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks.
- Ensuring compliance with all government and company standards relating to the safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases.
- Operating a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
- Supporting additional team needs as they arise.
Requirements
- A high school degree or GED.
- At least 1 year of related technical experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Qualifications
- Lives by Airgas safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position's responsibilities.
Skills
- Skilled in using a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
