Hours and Pay
- 1st Shift: 5:55 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Thursday, plus overtime as needed
- Base Pay: $17.30 per hour
- Meet established rates
- Set up tooling and fixtures
- Ensure quality of parts, both dimensional and visually
- Follow all job setup and run procedures
- Adhere to safety procedures: Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Equipment Safety Analysis (ESA), and Area Safety Analysis (ASA)
- Communicate with shift supervisor, tooling engineers, and quality engineers
- Generate reports: parts completion, time sheets, downtime, and scrap report
- Interpret written specifications for welding products
- Maintain housekeeping in work cell
- Repair tooling as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Manual dexterity required to handle parts
- Knowledge of control charts, inspection data, quality standards, and labeling procedures
- Written and oral communication skills
- Repetitive lifting, packing of items (3 to 6 lbs.)
- Some heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs. of a non-repetitive nature
- Work with sharp tools and sharp edges on parts
- Attention to detail in inspection
- Must work as part of a work team
- Standing, walking, and/or moving about for time periods in excess of one (1) hour
- Repetitive turning and/or lifting motions to be performed
