Production Associate 2nd Shift

About the role

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products. This role is available for full-time production associates who work second shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble windows and doors using hand tools and manufacturing equipment, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and production standards.
• Quality Control and packaging of finished products.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.

• While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, turn or twist, push, and talk or hear.
• The associate is required to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
• All workstations on the plant floor require the use of protective eyewear and hearing protection; some work stations require additional safety equipment to include but not limited to gloves, aprons and arm guards.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for duration of shift.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 12 months in a Manufacturing Environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.

Safety

• Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities safely in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals.
• Required to wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions.
• Comply with all legislative requirements as outlined by Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.

Pay

Base Pay: $17 per hour + $1 Shift Differential

Schedule

Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 6PM start time. Must be able to work up to 12 hours and Saturdays as needed.
