Production Assistant

About the role

You will maintain the ongoing production of products while ensuring a clean, friendly environment. This role is the first and last point of contact for finished goods before they are boxed, stored, and shipped to end users. You will work with product manufacturing formulas, packaging, quality control measures, inventory control, product rotation according to expiration dates, lot tracking, and traceability. The position also involves stocking shelves and assisting in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh raw materials and finished goods
• Properly use machinery to accomplish the job
• Accurately apply labels to finished goods
• Inspect all raw ingredients and finished goods for quality and accuracy
• Maintain an organized, clean work area with an emphasis on safety to meet company standards
• Maintain communication between team members and management to ensure tasks are understood and goals are met
• Help production team members in accomplishing production goals
• Lift 55 lbs. repeatedly
• Accurately track inventory and alert management to levels
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork
• Perform all other duties as needed
