Production Assistant

Position Overview

MacroHype is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Production Assistant and Event Helper to join our team. This role involves setting up and assisting with various audio-visual equipment for events, including sound systems, computers, DJ systems, and lighting. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and will play a key role in ensuring our events run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the setup and teardown of sound equipment, lighting, and DJ systems for events.
• Transport equipment to and from event locations across New Jersey and New York.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols during equipment setup and transport.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 kg (110 lbs).
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• No criminal record.
• Previous experience in event production or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be flexible and willing to travel within New Jersey and New York for events.

Schedule

Part-time position with flexible hours based on event schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $25 – $30 per hour
