Production Assistant

Responsibilities

• Create graphics (banner, CG’s) for the newscast.
• Operate the audio console during the newscast.
• Sell and edit news b-roll using broadcasting cameras.
• Operate studio cameras and broadcasting equipment.
• Newsgathering and newsroom assistance.
• Train in all areas of the Production Control Room

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in television and/or similar fields.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of television equipment and editing software (Adobe Premiere/Final Cut Pro).
• Good orthography in Spanish.
• Bilingual: Spanish/English.
• Able to perform well under pressure, meet daily deadlines, and respond quickly to changes.
• Organized, highly motivated and results oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings.
