Production Assembly Technician (Electrical or Mechanical) – 2nd Shift

About the role

Production Assembly Technicians (Electrical or Mechanical) on 2nd Shift play an important role in building custom electrical power distribution equipment used across a variety of industries. Working as part of a collaborative manufacturing team, you'll use hand tools, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of material to build high-quality products safely and accurately. Based on your experience, skills, and interests, you may be placed into either the Electrical Assembly or Mechanical Assembly department during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom electrical equipment and enclosures.
• Install electrical and mechanical components using assembly drawings.
• Wire electrical control panels and equipment according to wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Verify materials and components against bills of material (BOMs).
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Perform quality checks to ensure workmanship and accuracy.
• Collaborate with teammates to complete projects efficiently.
• Contribute ideas for continuous process improvement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, automotive, maintenance, or related trades is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read or learn assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to solve problems independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong safety mindset.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime when needed.
