About the role
The Assembler I performs a series of assembly tasks to manufacture products in HVO's portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Interact respectfully and work cooperatively with individuals with disabilities and team members.
- Read product specifications, drawings, and work instructions to become knowledgeable of products.
- Learn assembly steps and meet productivity rates on multiple products within a manufacturing area.
- Learn and demonstrate quality expectations of products being produced.
- Keep accurate work records and follow relevant quality system policies and work instructions.
- Promptly advise leadership of any issues that arise.
- Work overtime as requested.
- Demonstrate good work habits and positive behaviors.
- Maintain knowledge of HVO safety expectations and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow proper hygiene and gowning procedures throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Consistently meet production targets after training period.
- Perform visual inspection of assemblies with a high-quality standard.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to lift 30–40 pounds with assistance.
- Good manual dexterity requiring hand-eye coordination.
- Upper body repetitive motion; ability to stand or sit for long periods.
- Demonstrated ability to read and perform basic math functions.
- High school diploma/GED or proven work experience in a related field.
Pay
$18.50–$18.53 per hour.
Schedule
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00 am–6:30 pm.
