Production Assembler

Responsibilities

• Completes production processes according to established operating procedures.
• Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly job responsibilities.
• Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Cross trains to other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Basic reading skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
• Able to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
• Able to lift 25-50 pounds.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
• Possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
• Able to stand all day.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
• Perform job responsibilities efficiently meeting established standards.
• Desire to work in a fast pace environment.
• Experience in an electronics environment along with soldering skills are preferred.
• Willingness to work > 40 hours per week.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
