Production Assembler

About the role

Join our team at Garfield Truss and help build the backbone of beautiful homes, cabins, and commercial buildings. We’re located in the heart of Minnesota’s lake region — so you can live the cabin life every day, not just on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood trusses for custom home floors and roofs using engineered drawings
• Work with your team to ensure accurate measurements and strong builds
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after assembly
• Help keep our shop clean, safe, and organized

Requirements

• A hands-on worker who likes building and creating
• Comfortable using tools and learning new equipment
• Detail-oriented — you like doing things right the first time
• A team player who shows up on time and works hard
• Experience in carpentry, framing, or manufacturing is a plus — but we’ll train the right people

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow directions and work independently
