About the role
This is a 40-hour-per-week, fully onsite leave-coverage position running from October through mid-April. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite Monday through Friday. The client develops product sampling and marketing materials for customers within the building products industry and is seeking a detail-oriented Production Designer to support a busy creative and production team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update a variety of printed marketing and sales support materials.
- Create production-ready layouts based on provided creative direction, content, and project specifications.
- Prepare artwork and files for print production across multiple formats and applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to review projects, incorporate feedback, and support approval processes.
- Assist with production workflows, file organization, and project coordination activities.
- Ensure design files meet quality standards and production requirements.
- Support color consistency and accuracy across print and production materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide additional production and marketing support as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of production design, graphic production, or related experience.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience developing print-ready files and supporting production workflows.
- Strong understanding of layout, design execution, and file preparation.
- Familiarity with color management, print processes, and production standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with project management tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week, onsite Monday through Friday from October through mid-April.
