Role Overview

As a Production Arborist at Ryan Lawn & Tree, you will partner with a skilled team to cultivate a healthy urban forest, executing tasks such as tree pruning and removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding. You will collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently.

Responsibilities

• Execute pruning and tree work on client properties, including tree pruning and removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently with efficiency
• Operate small-engine equipment safely and proficiently, including chainsaws, shears, and string trimmers
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding service expectations, processes, and timelines
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working aloft and on the ground

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Strong physical capability, including the ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk 3+ miles per day
• Comfort and respect for working at heights; ability to climb and work aloft
• Ability to push and pull objects over extended distances
• Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions
• Commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain DOT certification and pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• A background in forestry or a related field is a plus, but not required
• Prior industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Genuine willingness to learn both on the job and independently
