About the role

This is an opportunity to undertake responsibility for all training and applications aspects for the full Ecotec product portfolio in the US. The role involves supporting the Ecotec dealer network through training, pre-sales support, and some aspects of aftersales support. The ideal candidate will have experience within the industry and enjoy working within a growing team to provide world-class support.

Position is based in the Newton manufacturing site, NH, USA. This is a full-time, exempt, remote role with a schedule of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dealer and customer support with machine demos, training, and on-site setup.
  • Coordinate and deliver structured training schools to the sales and service teams of the worldwide dealer network, ensuring they are conversant with product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Provide application support for the Ecotec product range and assist in developing and delivering customer sales proposals.
  • Build strong client relationships with both end-user customers and dealers, including regular visits to gather direct feedback.
  • Maintain and update a library of stored information on case studies.
  • Investigate new applications for existing products.
  • Determine training requirements, including web-based seminars, group sessions, training videos, and more.
  • Assist in developing sales support information (e.g., feature and benefits presentations, competitor comparisons, and sales training materials) for the dealer network.
  • Coordinate new product preview events, dealer forums, and communication.
  • Maintain an understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods.

Requirements

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent with a good understanding of the tree care industry, applications for the equipment, and expected machine performance.
  • Experience working on-site with similar equipment.
  • Experience in providing training, including web-based seminars, group sessions, and training videos.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office tools.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer (90%).
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs on occasion.
  • Walking, bending, and kneeling.
  • Repetitive motions involving the wrist, hands, or fingers.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where loud noise is present.
