Product Support Specialist

About the role

As a Product Support Specialist, you will deliver exceptional technical support and training to both internal and external customers. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical principles to align customers' experiences with our business goals and core values. You will assist customers in resolving product quality and application issues, identify root causes, and facilitate effective resolutions. Responsibilities include field support, product installation oversight, project management, troubleshooting, and providing comprehensive product information and training. You will also maintain documentation of product and customer interactions, travel as needed, and contribute to training initiatives to cultivate expertise across all product lines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and training to internal and external customers.
• Resolve product quality and application issues, identifying root causes and facilitating solutions.
• Provide field support, including product installation oversight, project management, and troubleshooting.
• Offer comprehensive product information and training to customers.
• Contribute to collaborative technical solutions and maintain documentation of customer interactions.
• Travel to customer locations, including overnight and international trips, as required.
• Develop expertise across all product lines and build strong relationships with dealers and end-users.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree in Mechanics or Electronics, or 3+ years of relevant field experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical skills to work with both true and perceived variables.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including delivering presentations to small and large groups.
• Physical ability to:
  • Travel overnight, including internationally.
  • Sit for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day).
  • Walk up to 2 miles/day, including on uneven surfaces or around obstacles.
  • Stand for extended periods (6+ hours).
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. from the floor.
  • Carry items while walking, bend, squat, kneel, and transition between kneeling and standing.
  • Twist or rotate body to reach tools or equipment.
  • Use hand tools and perform detailed tasks in tight spaces or on the ground.

Pay

Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 per year.
