Responsibilities
- Lead technical support and troubleshooting for product and system prototypes.
- Manage product installation, testing, and validation processes.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and defects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and reports.
- Conduct detailed customer needs assessments and provide technical solutions.
- Oversee product demonstrations and training sessions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product support and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in a technical support or engineering role.
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Expertise in product installation and testing processes.
- Hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications, and personal computers.
- Communication and customer interface skills.
- A thorough understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems.
- Ability to deploy for an extended amount of time to various OCONUS operating locations.
- Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations.
- Pass a pre-deployment medical assessment.
- Current/valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally.
- Willing to deploy OCONUS on an approximate 60/60 rotation.
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance.
- We Prefer:
- Advanced experience with prototype or concept product development.
- In-depth knowledge of Aerospace and Defense industry standards and practices.
- Relevant technical certifications [e.g., Six Sigma, Project Management Professional (PMP)].
- Working knowledge of operating military units and logistics.
- Familiarity with the network and integration of traditional communications systems and sensors.
- Experience with Radio Frequency (RF), vehicle installation and maintenance procedures.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military.
- Leadership experience in the military or civilian organization.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Hand/finger dexterity for operating computer equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.
