Product Support Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Intimately familiar with all aspects of operation and employment of the software and equipment specified under field service contracts.
• Stateside travel is required up to 50% annually (Training, Exercise, and Integration support to end users).
• Expect OCONUS deployment (hostile/ incentive pay in accordance with DoS rates if applicable) annually in intervals of 90 days (work continues as normal when stateside).
• The primary management office is located in Southern Pines, NC. Place of duty will be in Southern Pines, NC with 50% travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in a technical support or engineering role.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Full understanding of military operations.
• Subject matter expertise in one of three areas: Tactical Data Links; Tactical Radios, or computer networking.
• Stateside/International travel is required up to 50% annually (Training, Exercise, and Integration support to end users).
• Expect OCONUS deployment to austere locations (hostile/ incentive pay in accordance with DoS rates) in intervals of 50 days deployed (work continues as normal when stateside).
• An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required, TS with SCI eligibility is preferred.
• An active passport or the ability to immediately obtain one.

Essential Functions

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Hand/finger dexterity for operating computer equipment.
• Capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
• Occasional travel may be required.
