Product Specialist - Regional Payroll

About the role

You will ensure that payroll products comply with employment and statutory regulations for the assigned payroll countries. The role requires deep product knowledge, independent execution, and the ability to analyze local or regional requirements, then design and document system solutions in Payroll Functional Specifications.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Systems, Payroll, HR, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of HRMS product experience
• Regional payroll experience in implementation, support, and/or system testing
• Extensive knowledge of payroll product analysis, solution design, testing, Payroll Functional Specification writing, and basic SQL
• Proactive, self-driven, and personally accountable in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional payroll product’s system solution provider
• Analyze and test payroll product functionality reported by local or regional teams; escalate change requests when needed
• Perform business process analysis and provide system solutions for enhancements, customizations, or new functionality requests
• Understand employment and statutory regulations for assigned payroll countries and align the system accordingly
• Request changes when discrepancies are found between the payroll system and country regulations
• Write clear Payroll Functional Specifications that are understandable by all stakeholders, including R&D and QA teams
• Take overall responsibility for meeting deadlines and key performance indicators
• Offer to take on additional responsibilities as required
• Follow up with Project Management, Service Delivery, and Support teams on enhancement, customization, or new functionality requests
• Collaborate with Research & Development and Quality Assurance teams on regional payroll product requests
• Participate in quality actions for regional payroll products
