Product Specialist - Agriculture USA

About the role

We're seeking a Product Specialist to lead product development projects in the U.S. This role involves working closely with Halter HQ in New Zealand, the U.S. commercial team, and ranchers to ensure Halter's product delivers undeniable value.

Responsibilities

• Work with Halter HQ in New Zealand, U.S. commercial team, and ranchers to ensure Halter's product is delivering value.
• Lead projects to enable continuous innovation and expansion of the product.
• Share in-depth knowledge and context about U.S. ranches, animals, and virtual fencing throughout Halter.
• Partner with Territory managers to maintain strong alignment.
• Critically think about the product end-to-end to proactively and reactively start initiatives valuable for ranchers and their cattle.
• Work with strategic customers to ensure they are fully utilizing the product and receiving value.

Requirements

• Interest in agri-tech and being tech-savvy.
• Ranching experience and passion for animals and the future of agriculture.
• A phenomenal attitude and team player with the ability to overcome challenges.
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects or running research trials.
• Fast learner who is motivated to work hard and learn with a team doing things that have never been done before.
• Proven ability to think critically about a problem and reach strong, innovative conclusions.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and resilience.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to travel for work (domestic and international) as well as weekends.
