Product Safety Coordinator
What You Will Do
- Responsible for: GMP Audits by Department, Housekeeping Audits, Management of CA/PA for internal and external Audits, Pest control service log maintenance and incident investigations, Facilitating Product Safety/Cultures Meetings, Updating task list and Quality Culture Continuous Improvement System for trending and monthly reporting, Supporting Regulatory and Compliance communications, Assisting with: Updating Quality Management/Product Safety System procedures per standard, Coordinating and facilitating preparation for Product Safety Certification Audits, Supplier Management compliance, Training – Transactions (on going), as well as procedures, policies, work instructions, etc., Identifying areas were facility needs assistance in maintaining Product Safety Compliance and working with facility on improving areas of deficiencies, Completing Customer Requests for Surveys – investigating, CAR’s and writing responses, Supporting Product Safety Supervisor as needed
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience in a related safety role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with auditing for Product safety and quality systems
- Experience with writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Experience giving presentations and building relationships with internal and external customers

About the Role
This individual will maintain compliance with all certification standards and customer requirements for Product Safety. They will support all personnel in achieving goals set for continuous improvement of Product Safety and Quality Culture. In addition, the successful candidate will coordinate, facilitate, and/or support programs for success in all internal and external audits while coordinating with regulatory compliance of FDA requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our Traceability Program. They will perform vertical trace exercises and mock recall exercises as required to maintain compliance to customer and/or certification standard and serve as the Trace Coordinator for Emergency Recall Team.
Requirements
Georgia-Pacific Northeast Arkansas facilities produce plastic packaging products under the Anchor Packaging name. These manufacturing locations employ 900 individuals dedicated to applying innovative processes to produce high quality rigid containers and cling film for the food service industry.
