Product Review Engineer 4 (contract)
About the role
This role is a contract assignment with Boeing, where candidates will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing-approved third-party for the duration of the specified project. The Work Statement is a non-managerial, non-leadership role requiring regular and predictable attendance.
Responsibilities
- Applies broad knowledge of Boeing design and engineering principles.
- Affirms and resolves product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
- Leads research of technical, operational, and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customers and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
- Leads others to analyze, conduct root cause analysis, and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
- Develops and implements product/process improvements using innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex non-conforming conditions and detect deviations.
- Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues; recommends and manages complex resolutions.
- Leads activities for on-site disabled product repair teams and accident investigation or support teams.
- Designs appropriate jacking and shoring schemes.
- Leads the design of interim structural repairs and conducts static strength analysis.
- Develops and leads non-destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.
- Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
- Develops and implements technical training curriculum for internal or external customers.
- Communicates effectively, acts decisively, and demonstrates resourcefulness and innovation.
- Supports off-shift, weekend, and overtime work as required.
Requirements
- Current/previous Delivery Center work experience highly desired.
- Experience with Flight Squawk resolution process.
- In-depth knowledge of systems and functional test troubleshooting.
- Capable of communicating with customers and leading technical discussions.
- Familiarity with AFRS.
- Knowledge of Drawing Change Processes (EQC, ELR, MCC, RR, MR, PRR).
Qualifications
- Capability to work on 737 MAX structure, systems, interiors, exterior decorative finishes, flight squawks, and support delivery activity.

Pay
The pay rate range for this position is 71.92 - 76.92 USD per hour.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is flexible and may require occasional off-shift, weekend, or overtime work.
